thanks everyone for all the lovely comments about my miracle blanket and boot forms, I got a little side tracked  with the two girls and did not get a chance to thank every one properly.  A note on the boot forms, if you are going to make them I suggest cutting the feet off or using legwarmers I find they work much better that way, also I weighted the bottoms with rice,  at the attaching them at the top is important it really helps keep them standing up and paired no hunting at the bottom of the closet for that other boot!

I've included the links to the pictures of those two projects
1. A miracle blanket inspired from here , I just refused to pay that much for it so I made one.

I still would like to make another one

My list isn't very long yet, and it's buried in the forum somewhere... I can't seem to find it! But, I'm not putting myself under a lot of pressure to plan all my projects out in advance. I've got a few things in mind already, but most of it is going to be quite spontaneous, as that's
how I like to create. I am, going to turn most of the fabric from old decorating projects into useful items, and create somethings ... many in fact out of the huge box of leather my brother gave me. The thing is, It's how I work... I may see something in my mind, but inspiration can come quite suddenly, and then I just go with it. Like the bag I'm working on right now.

* takes a deep breath *
I'm in!
Only a month late, I guess, but I've been reading this thread since before the year started. And I've been working on my list.
Here's what I got on it so far (Purple means in progress):
1. crochet arm warmers
2. bead a painted pony necklace or bracelet (pattern)
3. bead a Mario mushroom something for coworker
4. tree of life pendant
5. etch a set of glasses for my guys
6. 2 sets of plush dice for friends' babies
7. tentacle pendant, like sheep blue's
8. 2 beaded lizards for coworkers
9. triangle beaded pendant
10. honeycomb beaded bracelet for sister in law
11. recon a tshirt
12. purple ring for niece
13. name bracelet for niece
14. yellow pendant for nephew
15+. stuff for the rest of the nieces and nephews

So far, I'm just a bit over halfway done with my first project. It's going very slow, because I just started learning how to crochet, but it looks like I actually know what I'm doing Smiley
There's so much inspiration in this thread (and on Craftster, in general). I'm sure I'll be adding lots of stuff to my list very soon.

funthreads you are so on a roll!!!
I'm just proud of myself that my mid arm (my new baby!) is sitting on top of my quilting frame right now - okay.. haven't gotten it to quilt yet but we're making progress at least!!  I should be ready to quilt something by next weekend - and then I'll be in business!  I've got a huge back log of quilt tops (okay - two so far but that's a backlog to me!) and a few wips and a bunch of quilting projects on my list so I'm super excite - getting closer to using my quilt frame for the first time marked off my list!

I'll post pics of the craft room soon - it's quite a sight... not good for the claustrophobic types that's for sure! It's like a tightly packed rat maze.  I can envision some higher being looking down on me saying hmmm... if we make the embroidery machine ding will the human being be able to find her way back to the machine?... let's see then give her a reward  Cheesy

Woohoo!  I finished one more thing!  Now I can go to bed in peace.  I have made the gym bag I want to send to my boyfriend. I hope he likes the material I chose!

And I've learnt at last to insert hyperlinks here!  Thanks to whoever took the time to explain somewhere in this thread  Kiss

Too funny with the flowers on the inside of his bag - those are flowers right?  I am digging the bag though - that is really sharp and I can see why you can rest now - that must have taken a really long time!!!  Awesome!
