ha ha --I bet the rest of the members are looking at the recent with pics and trying to figure out why there are two legs...

I miss the leg warmers from the 1980's--they were so practical in hard winters--glad to see some of you ladies bringing them back!  I think those are cute--what are they made from? Did you start with something?

I haven't done anything yet Sad Too busy with swaps at the moment and I don't want to count those in my 50.
I Really don't understand ... I think it's if you made something , it should be counted, and just post a link or pic after it's been recieved. Simple Question.?... Did you make it? Yes or No?

I think some people are counting them and some not for various reasons...depends on what you hope to accomplish.  I swap so much that I want to only post things I make for friends and family...and ME!!!!

but if all you do is swap, I say use your list to show off your 50 or more items!

Alwaysinmyroom-THey are the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt. There was a post on here where a girl made some really cute ones...mine were just thrown together last night so I could wear them this morning! I intend to make some more, and maybe fancy these ones up a bit, but they served their purpose or today. Need to hit the thrit store or more long sleeved shirts to cut up!! Once we dig out of this snow storm!!

I thought that is what they were!!!  My hubby hates long sleeves shirts and cuts them off at about the elbow...I wonder if they are long enough to use!

Or maybe even a long sleeved sweater!!  Thanks--off to search for leg warmer posts...suppose to snow here tomorrow as well Sad

I come to report my first two completed crafts of 2010.

1. Mustang gloves

I made the gloves myself and embroidered the symbol for fire alchemy on them.

2. Utena cosplay as a birthday present for RevolutionaryGirl

If the forearm section isn't long enough and you wanted to do some extra work, I bet you could make some really neat patchwork looking legwarmers from a combination of shirt sleeves!  As for me, I bought yarn for these legwarmer socks at least two years ago to do for me, and if they worked out for two of my beautiful ballerina cousins (because they seem ballerina-y to me), and got about 5 rows in, and they've been sitting in my WIP bag ever since!  I love them so much, and I know I would be so proud of myself if I finished them.  I would probably wear them all the time.
