That sounds good to me!!

I have been soooo sick...got a severe throat infection that lasted almost 2 weeks and had me pretty much bedridden.  It was the worst thing ever.  I am finally over it but now I feel so super weak and left behind by life, lol.  I have been working in my art journal but that's about all I have the energy for...so finishing one project a week sounds like something I could do for sure!!   Grin

ETA - finally got one finished project posted!  Yay! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=353068.0  That means 1 whole project done for July.   Grin

My blog: http://messymama.wordpress.com
Am taking a crafting/posting hiatus and formally withdrawing from all the CAL's I was in.  Need time to recharge and rewire.  But, I am still lurking and loving you guys like crazy, keep posting the amazing projects!!!  You all rock!

I like that idea too!

I've been crafting and creating a lot of wips, but haven't be posting!  I have been a little consumed by the blogging world, but hope to get back on track here at craftster soon!

It's funny looking at my list because I keep adding my new projects to the end as I do them, and then all the original stuff I started out with is fairly forgotten (or seems lame and not as fun! lol)

I'm currently sewing myself a dress for this weekend.  It's going really well!! The problem with clothes is always that I need to find someone to take pictures for me!

Hey,

I'm up for the one posting a week too - since I joined at the beginning of this month, and have *ahem*...2 finished projects (aaarrrrghhh!) I have been working on my house mates blankie, but I thought I had way more granny squares than I actually did, and now it's going to be even bigger than I planned, cos she wants it to spell out a phrase!!!

Right - stop posting, and get crafting girl!!

Well,

I am having the same problems as everyone else on this board. I completed a swap, but the post office totally messed up and I am afraid that I will get negative feedback Sad which would kill my swapping career. I LOVE to swap so I hope that doesn't happen... but anyway I completed four items for that swap that I am counting towards my 50 bringing by total to 20, I think.

My July List:
4-H X stitch project
4-H sewing for fun project
Piggy bank for piggy bank challenge
Start christmas presents i.e. crochet dishcloths for Aunt's giftbaskets

If I can get 5-10 projects complete in July I would be estatic!!!

HAPPY CRAFTING,
Emily

bethieb--having such colorful hearts in your kitchen would definitely be inspirational and uplifting!  I hope you are feeling better and find out what you have...sucks to try to craft when you feel lousy!

I printed out my list again and plan on reworking it...I think I had way too many things on there that I really don't want to make anymore...and I keep finding new things...I am shooting for at least one project to post each Sunday or Monday...

I'm all for posting on Sundays or once a week also, but this weekend is for Las Vegas. Cool  I will be taking a couple of crafts with me but will have to wait for next week.
Those socks look comfortable sarahj. They look profession or machine made, Great 1st try.
BethieB your kitchen wall art is adorable. You could always modge podge over it and make it more permanent. It's very cheery and colorful. Love it! Grin

Arrrgh!  I finally FINISH two projects and my camera has gone missing.  (OK it was last seen taking random shots out the window of lots of Kansas empty fields, stinkin' kids)

So without pictures...  I finished an embroidered pillowcase for my sister and a baby quilt to be gifted.

I am going to re work my list as well and narrow it down to be smaller I think. I really don't have time to craft which makes me sad because it's so theraputic but between working and always feeling like crap I just don't get much done!

I'm hoping to be able to post one item a week, but I MUST focus on the items ON my list, no more extras to be counted!  It's SO easy for me to get wrapped up in a button art project or new piece of jewelry instead of making clothing, as the button art and jewelry are 100% start and finish at work projects, even if they take a few days to do...they are the only things (well, embroidery and Xstitch can be done at work too) that I work on when there.  Sewing takes a bit of time, and relies exclusively on me being home to work on it, and can only be done on my days off as I'm too pooped after work to try to muster my creative energy to sew.  Good luck to us all on squeezing in a project a week!
