I tried to go off a list last year, and quickly realized that i dont ever get to cross off my list, I'm always adding! lol

so, I just do crafts as they come up (friends that want something, swaps I join, holiday presents, etc) and then just add up how many projects I complete.

But believe me, I still have a "list" but it is more like "things that would be awesome to do someday"  Tongue
and if i were to post it, it is over 70 items (not including all the things I have already done this year) and is growing every month.

lol, so maybe that will help some of you with "guilty list syndrome"  Tongue You are never alone, and its all about how you perceive it!

My list is more like a guide to things I would really like to get done - mixed in with things that I know I need to get done and I add to it when I make things that weren't on my list.  Creation is creation.  I have a goal of making at least half of my original list of like 70 or so things - I'm doing *fairly* well with that.. we'll see... I have several big ticket items on that list - 4 quilts - I am so going to have to make the fishy quilt that was in the latest quilt magazine I got in.... I really have to have to have to!!

Another comment about "list guilt"... remember that the CAL is called 50 projects in 2010 there's NO MENTION of a list.  Smiley  It's about the projects.

It's about personal best.  If you're happy with what you're doing, then you're moving in the right direction.

My only reason for making a list was to see what wasn't getting done that should be.  I have not listed, nor posted all those things that I would have done anyway.  If I added all those things to my list, it would stand at approximately 150 items.

If it helps, throw the list away and have fun. Cheesy

Woo Hoo.  Permission to ditch the list Ma'am!

OK, so I'll probably hang on to it but 17/50 is kinda like half way there right?  OK so it is only 34% but that is closer to half way than 11.

Definitely closer than 11. Wink  The way I see it is this.  17 is a noble amount of projects, for a start.  Just don't stop there.  If you can do seventeen, you can do 34.  And if you do 34, you're more than half way.

I should have put walking sticks on my list.  I've just finished making 18 of them.  Long process, but they look awesome.

Anyway, everybody's doing great with their lists.  I have grandchildren coming on Sunday, so I may not get to post very much.  At least I can still watch for posts from you all.

ha ha ha I love it...just throw away the list and have fun--oh pinokeeo, that is so great!

ok--update: I emailed the people that I needed to verify the count...as you can see, some people posted pics of what they made and some people decided not to count certain things, etc.  What a big old mess! Cheesy

Good news is that so far, everything is matching up with everyone and there were quite a few large projects...remember that it is a random drawing, so a person with one ticket can still be drawn!  Hopefully, I will hear from the few people still MIA--and if not, I will just have to use what they posted as their count...fair?

Hubby volunteered to draw so blame him if you do not win!! Cheesy
