Whew!  10 minutes before bedtime but I finished that tooth fairy pillow.  I'm not too keen on it - the design I got online is well subpar - it was kind of patchy and has running stitches instead of jump stitches in a few places... those running stitches made two of its teeth look cracked lol.  He likes it so that's all that counts, right?

So... that puts me at 24/50!  Hoot!  I'm going to go for 100 this year and that's that!
Tomorrow I'm taking someone that I know to the store to buy fabric to teach her how to sew next weekend.  (and to buy dirt.  I need to buy dirt to fill in the holes from those fugly boxwoods I dug out and freecycled out) then I'm going to get home and finish the wallet I started yesterday.  It's really coming along nicely!!

Wow, always, that's so nice of you, and such great motivation!

I officially finished my last lab report for my undergrad degree this morning, and then set off on a crafting spree to celebrate!  I've gotten lots of lovely supplies through swaps, and now I'll finally have time to use them all!  I finished my "make 5 pairs of earrings to go in my new earring holder" and started a loaded charm bracelet using some beads from gamemom42, and then am most of the way done with my first stuffed animal, a cat made from awesome fabric missmoppet sent me!  I'm up to 14/50 now, and am looking to be even closer in the next week...I have a completely free week, with absolutely no obligations until graduation, so look out for lots of finished projects I hope!

thanks always, for the hat picking prize, even more of an incentive to get things done!

start of the month, so im feeling extra motivated.
my mini may list:

1. finish giant rainbow knitted blanket (just got 1 inner panel to finish, then 4 border panels!)

2. finish purple knitted 2 needle socks (1 done!)

3. make 2 balls of tights yarn (1 tied loops ball done, just got the stitched ball to do)

4. make 6 lavender bags out of tights (cut, need to stitch and find some lavender)

5. make quilted mat to go under my sewing machine.

6. do an altered journal (started 1 page, gathered for more, need to find a good pen to write on paint - any suggestions?)

7. start first ever knitted jumper (maybe finish, not sure how long it will take)

8. case/bed/home for florence  Grin

9. pencil pot inspired by the one in the papercraft section, and those awesome crayon things they have in desperate housewives (anyone else see these - susan has them in her classroom, a different color pot for all different crayolas, organsed by colour!!yes, typing this ive realised how weird i sound!!)

see how much of this i can do this month!

They're fantastic toys for toddlers!  You make a bag with a big clear window so that you can see inside, and fill it with beans, plastic beads or whatever... adding an assortment of little things for the child to find and identify.  If you add a list with the contents, you can use it too when the child is starting to learn the letters Cheesy  There's a tutorial around.

Sarahj2001 has surpassed her list of 50!!!!  Wow--so many crocheted items, too!

I love the swimsuits!!  The money soap is wonderful and a great idea for anyone to wash their hands!  I also love the cherry & kiwi cakebox!  You are a crafting machine!

that1girl--You should look at the purses made with yo-yos and some of the  gorgeous yo-yo necklaces!

Here is the report I have from all of the PM's I received!  Please check for accuracy as I am known to make typos!
It is still not too late to be added to the report and be part of the May Contest!

Remember: for every two projects POSTED in May (or one large project!), you will get one chance in a drawing; the more you make, the more chances you get. Anybody can win, even if you only make two things!  Good luck!

Prize: $20 Visa Gift Card

Remember also that this thread is for you!  No pressure to compare yourself with others, etc. Maybe you will be motivated, maybe you will change your list or add to it...I know after seeing how many people were nearly half done, that I am really motivated to up my list!
