I love it!

I am actually making this same replica of that Mary Magdalene dress for someone, and I am debating on whether or not to put the boning in the seams. Did you make it with boning? Also, if possible, could you tell me how you did the back?

oh wow. if its a replica i certainly wasnt aware of it! i took a lot of elements i liked out of other dresses and combined them but i wasnt shooting for replica! haha oh well. i DIDN'T bone it. the fabric is relatively thick. i think if i was using regular cotton broadcloth i would though... the back is relatively plain. just straight across at the top. two tiny pleats at the lower back. side zipper. hope that helps!

Oh haha, yeah, it looks almost exactly like this one by MM, aside from the print:

But yeah, I am torn on boning it. I am making it out of a cotton plaid suiting like material, so I suppose I will figure it out as I go along. Thanks for your help!
