I looked at the "It's a Grind" website, I believe it's the 7250 S. Durango Location, here's the link to where it's at:

http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=7250+S.+Durango+Drive&csz=las+vegas%2C+nv&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

Just plug in where you're at and it'll tell ya how to get there!

1 PM Sunday it is!  Wooo! Smiley

Here's the It's a Grind website if that doesn't work:

We're still on for today, right?

Anyone else wanna join in on the fun?  I'm surprised no one else has even said anything besides the three of us.

I couldn't go. I ended up having to go to my mother-in law's and bring her some medicine. She's got a horrible flu.

I really wish my inlaws didnt keep interrupting my plans.

It seems like everyone has a little bug around here, both Kerri and I had something, yuck!

We did get together, just us two again!  We tried to go to the coffeeshop, but it wasn't open yet!  I totally thought it was already!

When will it be open, razorsharp?

We ended up sitting around at the Starbucks in the Vons, and then looking at the adorble puppies at the petshop.  My daughter was being particularly fussy for some reason, so we only hung out 'til 3 or so.

Next week we really need to plan something, like, for 2 on Sunday.  Kerri and I were talking about it, any suggestions of what to DO?  I want to meet more people, so far I've gone to three meet ups and I've only met Kerri!

Hi!  Did you get together?  I live in vegas (have for a long time) and am getting back into my creative side - ok never lost it but travel to conferences to feed it since never thought of a local group - but would love to get into a local group just for the support (aka to keep me focused!).

I was just thinking about my vegas ladies.  And our lack of social interaction.  One more week of UNLV classes then im done with grad school til july. YESSS!
So, First Friday is rolling around yet again.  I plan to go. It'll be Friday.. obviously.  Perhaps some of you other lovelies would like to venture out too and support the local scene?
If not, we could make some plans for Sunday afternoon for a craft fest.  I really want to knit up a purse for summer.  I've already got the yarn for it...

Hey hey what do ya say?

I'm planning on going to First Friday - I'm going to be walking around recruiting people for a hair show in June.

By the way, if any of you guys want to be a model, it's 4 nights at the MGM grand and it's a paid event.  Send me a message if you'd be interested, ok?

So yeah, if you see me at First Friday, say hi.

I finally went to FF again.  Managed to drag my carcase there a bit late, so I ended up just playing a round of mini golf.  Have you heard about this?  Each hole was designed by a different local artist.  It was pretty neat.  Very different designs, there was a cute kitsch one with retro appliances to manuever around, among others.  Ran into some people I knew, which is always nice.  Makes this city feel smaller.  Next time, im leaving earlier and actually making it to some of the galleries.  Honest.

On a side note, where have you all gone?!  Our craft group hasn't taken off like I had hoped.  I have a purse I need to knit, c'mon ladies, I need the motivation to set aside some craft time.
