My niece desperately wanted a castle for her dolls for Christmas but we were unable to find her one that wasn't a hunk of junk! So my SIL and I headed to Hobby Lobby with our 40% off coupons and bought a kit for a Victorian house! I had 3 days to get it together!  Shocked Shocked And I some how managed to do it too! It took about 40 hours of work but I did it!

everything had to be painted and assembled, the only thing that came pre-assembled was the floor. I will tell you what my kids will probably not get a doll house of their own!  Cry I was ready to set this thing on fire!  Angry but in the end it was so worth it!

I love the wainscoting! I wallpapered the walls with scrap book paper. Some of it is a bit wonky because we figured 3 sheets per room, and didn't take into consideration some of the papers were a one way pattern  Embarrassed

the princess room on the roof! I have more things to go inside the hose but they didn't get done in time!  Undecided

What a sweet gift! It is lovely. I love the paper you used as wallpaper. I hope she loved it. Merry Christmas!

You did all of this in only three days?!?  My hat's off to you.  When I build a miniature house, it takes me weeks to get it even close to what you've done.

Nice work.

Fantastic work on a tight deadline! We bought a huge kit at an auction for $5 years and years ago... then had a son. I gave the kit to my sister but it's still in her basement.
