I made this sock monkey for a four year old neighbor girl for Christmas.
I wanted to make it more like a play toy.  The cloths are removable, the wings and hat also.  I posted a photo on my facebook page and got a request to make one for my friend's Daughter's birthday.  I would love to dye the sock part this time and purple or some similar color.  Might do that.

I love it!

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

He's so cute! Don't you just want to keep him for yourself??  That little girl is going to be so happy.

Awesome!  I just discovered the joys of making sock monkeys.  I had never thought of making one and my niece requested one for Christmas.  I really enjoyed making it and everyone went crazy over it.  So it looks like I will be making more.
