So, I'm really really really broke this year. Didn't buy much of anything for the kiddos this year, and what i did buy, was with giftcards from my grandma.

Anyways, there's a family dinner on christmas, and I really wanted Maddi to have a nice dress but I couldn't buy one. Fortunately, one of my mom's friends recently gave her a ton of clothes to give to me (since most everything I had been wearing was maternity), and I found two shirts in it that I wouldn't ever wear, but were a nice material!

So... I turned one of them into a dress! And I used the other one to show the before and after. They were exactly the same just a different color!

Enjoy!

I ended up adding a lace panel because it was WAY lowcut on her! You could pretty much see her baby boobies! lol

From the side.

Next to the unaltered shirt.

Full view! The side looks crooked, but it's not. It's that weird silky bunched material that stretches like 80 times its normal size...

I simply bunched it and sewed a straightline to make the neckline like that....

I might make a tutorial with the second dress if anyone's interested...

Awesome addition.. I was wondering if you would put a cami on her or what... It looked a little low cut.  But that lace is absolutely perfect!  and your Daughter is adorable!!
Merry christmas!
