couples ornament help PLEASEE

so me and my boyfriend have been together over a year and this is our 2nd christmas and i wanna get a couples ornament but i cant find any pretty ones...and the ones i do find are expensive..so my question is do any of you know how i could make my own but where it accually looks decent. i really wanna get this to hang on our very own tree =).. thank you in advance

and you could do it with any 2  you want/have/can think of.

and: i don't want to offend you or sound harsh, but i think you would get better answers, if you would ask a more specific question.
do you want ideas or tips on how to make?
you could show ornaments you like and ask for help on how to make them.
or if you want ideas, it could be helpful to tell people what crafts you are good at/dislike/ and what you would like/be willing to try

i like the ornament you showed me alot
and i dont know how to be specific lol well i cant knit or anything and i can sew ehh ok im still learning but i mean as putting stuff together im good at =) but i just want somthing cute it dont have to be like far out just somthing with a girl and boy that i can write mine and his name on i dont need anything that says first christmas on it cause well this is our second

How about a simple felt ornament? They're fairly simple, you basically just take felt (I've been using the cheapy acrylic stuff from the craft aisle at Walmart), cut out two matching pieces, sew together and add a little bit of fiberfill. They could be 2d, or you could make actual shapes. (For Example, I made a 2d star that was just a cutout star front and back, and I also made a wedding cake with 3d cylinders for each layer)

It could be tricky to get faces to look really good in felt (well, I'm a beginner sewer and I think that would be trick) so how about representing something about you two...maybe a place you visited this year or a hobby you both share? You could hand embroider your names/year onto the front or back. I should have some pics of some of my ornaments up in the Christmas 2009 list.

i never made anything. i found a cute ornament with 2 birds in a house for cheap that i got at walmart.
