Hello craftsters!  Smiley I took a few months off (well, most of 2009, really) from craftstering, but I'm back now.  Thought I'd share some of my favorite projects I made this year.  Any comments appreciated!

Snow owl amigurumi (based off of http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=36360910)-

Robot hat (it looks weirdly misshapen here, but I promise it fits normal)-

Plastic bag/plarn totebag (it gets so many compliments when I bring it grocery shopping)-

A rainbow yarn bomb-

The story behind this one is that I put it up (in Burlington, VT) when Vermont legislature was trying to legalize gay marriage, and Governor Douglas was fixin' to veto the bill.  The heart-shaped tag on it says "Legalize Love".  Smiley

Striped neckwarmer/cowl-

Team Zissou hat (the stitching's a little hard to see, but those are Z's on there)-

And last but not least, a Dinosaur Scoodie for my friend! Similar to this one- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=258603. Here she is wearing it and being a dinosaur:

Thanks for looking! Expect a xmas gifts post from me soon as well!

That owl is sooo cute! I love his brow ridge! And the tote is great looking. I've been saving plastic bags (much to my husband's dismay) to make some. Do you happen to have patterns written up for the two?

I really like these tree sweaters that people have been making. I've seen them around my university--ala knit and crocheted yarn graffiti. Perhaps I should start 'contributing'. Wink

Have to admit, I have never heard of a tree sweater before, but I'm thinkin' it's a really cool idea!

I love all your projects. You've inspired me to make my own recycled plastic bag tote.  Thanks for sharing your lovely work!

thanks everyone!  Cheesy

like i said, the owl was mostly based off of this- http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=36360910
and the plarn bag was probably based off of one of the patterns at myrecycledbags.com, maybe this one- http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2008/07/19/the-ultimate-grocery-bag/

and as for knit/crocheted graffiti, i love it. it's so so much fun. i encourage everyone to try their hand at it!

I love that Owl so much!  His little wings?  GAH!! ILOVETHEM!!!

I love the look of your bag. I really need to crochet a plastic bag because one of my new years resolutions is to bring all my own bags to the store. But, the idea of working with plastic turns me off, I guess I think it's going to be hard to work with.....   was it miserable to crochet?

That Steve Zissou hat is so great, I loved that movie so much.

And the Dinosaur Scoodie is da bomb!!

It's fun to see all the different projects together!
