I made this one yesterday. It's for Curly to wear on Christmas. It looks really cute on her! Unfortunately I don't have any action shots.

(It's a wee bit small on the mannequin, but fits her great)

Now I just need to decide what to make for blondie!

C & C always appreciated!
Thanks for looking.

Really like this a lot!  Did you make the pattern or is it a commercial one?

I want to try knits so bad but I've been told they are hard to sew.  You did great on this!

Cute! That's totally something I'd wear! Paired with some plack leggings and a black belt to cinch in the waist that'd be adorable. Great job!

All the other Mommies are going to be jealous of that cute little dress!  Wink

Thanks. I make all my patterns myself.

When I made a dress out of a regular knit it was hard because it kept getting stretched out. This one is a stretch knit (95% cotton, 5% spandex) and it was really easy to work with. I love using this type of fabric because I don't have to worry about putting in elastic or fasteners! It just slips on over her head.

Wow this dress is really sophisticated and well-made! Good job!

How old is your daughter who's going to wear it? I'm asking because props to you for making her fashion-conscious. There's no way my little girl [5] would wear something gray and of this shape Undecided

This is frikken AWESOME!! I love that you drafted the pattern yourself (and that you have a kid sized judy too!). The sleeve detail is wonderful. Hand gather or ruffle foot? I gotta know...
