Do you remember i had posted a cowl effect shawl built-in kameez and had promised of posting a twist to the cowl effect in another attempt.

Here it is , i stitched this for my sister. The cowl here is a pleated one and it runs from shoulder to almost 3/4 armhole. Pant is a pleated salwarl all along hence puffy effect. I liked the result.

I love this outfit! I really like the tops, but the pants are the best! Do you have any good tips on making a pair? They look very comfy. Smiley

I love your salwar kameez, they are all so beautiful ! This "cowl effect" is really great Grin
Tell me, is there a hidden zipper somewhere (or something like that) or did you manage to have it so well fitted without it ?

No Zipper!!!. Front and back neck are deep enough to slide in about 4.5 inches at front and 5 inches at back, scoop neckline makes it easier. Regarding the fit, my sister acknowledged it fitted her 'nicely'. That made up for the hours spent on the dress as she is very particular about the fit.

Regarding the pant, i have got quite a few requests. Now being holiday season, won't be able to sit down on it as my darling daughter is on her vacation, so won't let me do anything but playing with her Smiley

Next year i.e., hardly a week away, i shall do a detailed tutorial and shall update this post with a link to it. watch out.
