I always have a really fun time coming up with stuff to make for my best friend, but this year I'm drawing a blank. She likes kind of obscure, wacky, amazing things, like some of the stuff I've made for her in the past: faerie dreads, a plush mustache, and a Mad Hatter hat. Any ideas for this year?

If you can book bind (or want to learn) you could make her an art journal. Or a book to jot down inspiration for things to make/do.

You could design a doll based on one of her favorite movies, or maybe some whimsical jewelry?
This year I really want a faerie in a jar (based on the legends of zelda) another idea would be a Rapunzel scarf possibly? Or a jump rope out of old nylons.

You haven't posted much yet, so I'm unsure as to what crafts you're into, but even a really cool theoretical design bag would be fun.
(I.E. design a bag more to the style of runway fashion and then make that)

I'm not sure I was much of a help at all, but maybe you'll think of something based on this.

Actually, the faerie in a jar idea is really capturing me. Thanks so much!
