OK, so I have a question....I know we need to craft items for the swap but since it is frugal, what if say I have a partner that needs bed linens for example and I have three closets full of German bed linens...I am a bit of a hoarder, it is something I am trying to fix. ...anyway the question is...can you fill a need for a partner and that be part of the swap as well?

I don't see why not, so long as it's okay with your partner.  I think a majority of it should be crafted, but filling needs is also good!  (Maybe a non-crafted can count as a small?)

I think that is a great idea!

Wanted to share this with some of you. I know I am not a fast food eater but for those of you who are this is a good way to get free meals and make a little cash on the side.

I have and do this on occasion for other business and it is a legit business. You do secret shops for fast food places and they basically pay for your meal and your gas. You wont get rich this way but it is free food. Smiley

I know this was a few pages back, but here in SW Florida we have alligators and bears that tend to invade the city at times.  And the friendliest, dancing raccoons you have ever seen on the island where I work!

I'm excited for partners on Friday night!  I just found out that I have this weekend off, so I can finish up my hat swap and start major planning (and hopefully crafting) for this one.

Oh and I also know where the Okefenokee Swamp is.   Cheesy

Dancing raccoons?  Cheesy  Awesome.

And yes, I figured some people might want to craft this weekend, so the more time you actually have to craft, the better!

Fulfilling needs?  Heh.  I've already nudged my partner that if she has any muffin pans, bread pans, or ice cube trays to spare (or can find 25cent or so cheapies at her local thrift shop), I'd be one very, very, very happy recipient! Smiley  She's also PM'd me her "I'm looking for" wish list, and I'm happy that I can help oblige a little.

SO much reading!!

I read a few pages back about getting hubby to eat beans/veggies.  Ever hear of the Sneaky Chef?  She has ways of adding veggies into almost everything and your subjects will never know it.

I don't personally have her book but I saw her on TV one time and looked up some of her recipes.  Amazing!

I have a partner too! And I loves her Cheesy

Mmm, beans! Hummus is awesome, but I can't seem to make it, I buy it pre-made. I do lots of other stuff with beans though, roasted chickpeas are so good! Just drain and rinse a can or two and then pat dry, season with salt, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, whatever floats your boat (I like 'em spicy) and then roast on a cookie sheet. Great high protein snack, I am seriously addicted.
