I can't wait to get started on this! I've been sitting at work making a list of possible items to make for this swap. It will be so fun to get my partner - I can hardly stand the wait!

I thought of an idea the other day that I ended up making and my partner will get and hopefully find some use for. My old roommate was a wino. She would drink wine with her friends ALL the time. When I moved into the apartment the little space above the cabinets was FILLED with empty wine bottles. I got sick of it and it looked cluttered so I got rid of them all but kept the corks for an unknown project at a later date. I ended up making a little mini cork board out of them. It came out pretty cute and is great for tacking up important info and reminders. I am SO excited about this swap. My birthday was yesterday and my boyfriend bought me 20 (!!!!!!!) skeins of yarn. So... my partner is definitely getting some crocheted stuff!

I barely have anything that I've made for myself either!  Well, I do have all those things I've started on but for some reason never finished! 

Jenna-Gayle, where are you?  Sounds like you aren't too far from my parents (Dothan, AL).

I'm a little ways from Alabama, right about the middle of Georgia around where I-75 runs through, but waaaay out in the boonies!    
And I'm sure all of you Northerner's will laugh, but 30* for a low and 50* for a high really, really is FREEZING!!!!    I just do not understand how yall survive up there!!

I might have to cave and sign up for this one.     I can make felted wool items.  Dryer balls, reusable makeup pads, felted soap savers, and felted sweater slippers or mittens.  I would also love to make some of the bath and body recipes I posted earlier.  That facial scrub works just as well as St. Ives Apricot scrub and I've been wanting to try the astringent recipe.  Anyone interested in the stuff I can make? 

The stuff I would like to receive include draft stoppers (unfilled are just fine ), menstrual pads, crocheted dishcloths, and gluten free/casien free recipes.

i totally forgot to put in about my deepening love of embroidery - has anyone suggested yet personalised/decorated hankies? saves money on paper tissues AND the planet!

and i have books and books on frugal houshold cleaning tips.natural beauty tips etc - basically if you have lemons, bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and salt in your house you can be clean hygeinic and fabulous! so i would be happy to make a little book/tips box etc ...

Please note that checking in on the swap thread at least once a week is highly HIGHLY encouraged so we know you're still around and crafting!  Communicating with your partner is also a necessity.  If you know you can't post pictures, please ask your partner to take pictures for you!

I should have put that in when I posted initially, but forgive me - I'm new! 

If anyone has a problem with this, or thinks they may be MIA for extended periods of time (moving, trips, etc.), PM me ASAP so we're all on the same page.  (And were there enough acronyms in the last sentence?)

I just thought of something else!  If there is another gluten free/casien free craftster out there, I would love to receive GFCF cookies.  I made my first batch last week and they were like little bricks.  My kids wouldn't eat them.     For those of you wondering what GFCF is, it is a diet that reduces symptoms for some kids with autism and/or ADHD.
