What is a soap saver?
I may be resubmitting my questionaire to you kaz814 now that I've seen all your great ideas!

A soapsaver is a knit or crocheted bag to hold the soap in - that way you can use less of the soap (for those who dislike washcloths it's built right in so more suds and less soap being used) and use it until it's all gone.  The slivers of soap always get lost or broken and I end up tossing them as too much of a hassle.

I have to give this some serious thought.  I believe in frugal living, but I don't know if what I make is right for this.

Heck, I'd be your partner in this, pinokeeo! I could use one of your pine needle baskets to gather the tiny wild strawberries that grow in my backyard! Or how about some wood burned veggie markers? Or a beautiful bowl to make salads from the garden? A box to hold all the cloth napkins I plan on making and swapping for next year? Okay, so all those things would be, like, extra larges, but I would totally spoil you in return!

Yes, pinokeeo - come join!  Just by virtue of your things being reusable, they're frugal. Cheesy  (And gorgeous!)  One of your baskets would rock for gathering garden veggies or going to a farmer's market!  There's also signs encouraging frugality/reminders, maybe a burned recipe box or coupon holder, a box to hold laundry soap and other necessities like dryer balls and sachets (all homemade of course!), etc.!

This is a really good idea. I'm going to go fill out my questionnaire right now.

A comment on all that white vinegar: I rarely use it for cooking, but I use it as a fabric softener.  It does the same thing as an expensive fabric softener that is full of artificial scents and it doesn't leave a smell on your clothing, surprisingly enough.  And, like Avabrowneyes said, it can also be used for a number of other things.

I'll add repurposed clothing to the list!  I'm also adding links to tutes as I come across them for the things without a ton of tutorials!)

Smiley  She's the reason I made my first loaf of bread (and OMG YUM!)  I don't make it as often as I want to, but when I do, I'm in heaven!

I find this swap very exiting, but I'm not sure whether to sign up... I've never participated in any swap before and I don't know whether I would be crafty enough... My main craft is beading, you see. Another reason is I live in the Netherlands, which could make sending out a bit more complicated. On the other hand, frugal living was why I started crafting in the first place, so this just yells "participate!" to me. What do you think? *feels unconfident*
