Is this possible?  It is a Saturday and no one has replied to this thread in five hours!  You all must be

a) busily crafting for your partner
b) doing house work
c) buried in a snow drift

So which is it, ladies?   Wink Cheesy Grin

I'm contemplating beginning on A for both Craftrica for this swap and another partner for another swap.  I am also interspersing my contemplation with B.

I E-slept late, F-ran errands and am now B-cleaning so that I can A-craft like a mad woman today.  Everyone's gone so I should have an hour or two left before any interruptions occur.

It's E for me, and a modified version of C- no snow here but freezing cold rain! I've been holed in at onegroovyday's house.  We are so not used to this weather!  Shocked  She's getting ready to venture out and get us some Starbucks to keep us going!
I'm working on starting A- I've made a plan, but have been crafting baby shower gifts so far today.

I'm also very happy with my partner! Ninzip acually only lives a few streets away from my place, so I guess we'll swap in person as well!

I can't wait to see lots of pictures of your swap meetup!

I grew up in Northern Indiana, near Maple Leaf Farms.  They are the largest commercial duck producer in the U.S.  MLF is trying to get more fans on their Facebook page, so they are holding a drawing and giving away a free duck to their fans each week.  They only have 55 fans right now, so your chances are pretty good.  Here's the link:

Kiddo and I met up with a small group of 4-Hers at the library this afternoon (including my best friend and her youngest daughter who happens to be my son's best friend) to do a big book donation to the library.  Eddie normally turns in his used books for credit at my friend Sarah's store, but he gave this stack to the library so I'm proud of him.  As y'all've probably figured out by now, we are very much devoted library patrons.  And, the grandparents will be happy because a pic of the kids with their donations is going to run in the paper so I'll get a copy to send down to AL to make my mom squeee.  LOL

Oh, funny thing.  I soaked beans overnight.  Then, I went to boil them soft before dividing them into freezer containers.  The kitchen is not heated (although, it gets warm enough to at least function in there when I've got the oven on and/or am over a sink of hot water and have a load running in the dryer).  I made it rain in the kitchen!   Shocked Cheesy  The steam from the big pot o'boiling beans rose up to the ceiling where it then condensed on the cold ceiling surface and rained down big, fat raindrops on that end of the kitchen!  ROFLMAO!!!!!   Cheesy

My sentiments exactly.  My least favourite thing to do.  Give me a maid who will do all the cleaning/organizing and leave me alone to craft and cook and I would be a happy woman!
