it's not really a use all on its own, but i've used it as background grass in dioramas...

actually, this is grass i made myself, but i hunted around and this is the only picture i could find.  it's close enough.  Wink

That diorama looks awesome, annette. I'd love to see more of it! Grin

y'all are sweet.  Smiley
that's one of my last remaining dioramas because they take up so darn much room.  it's my favorite for a variety of reasons, goofy as it is.  i'll take a straight-on picture so you can fully realize what a weirdo is in your midst.  Wink
(it's got some pompon insects, some cut-out painted photos, the afore-mentioned grass+ crimped and then shredded green paper for more grass, stickers and a whole lot of other crazy stuff.  it's called "somebody saw...what happened in the garden".)

this is even a worse picture, for some reason, but you can see more of the little bugs.  they are starting to look rather bedraggled, i'm afraid.

Sushi grass would look very cute on greeting cards or in a scrapbook. Or maybe a journal cover? Any collage type picture

My question is where do you get sushi grass in the first place?

I bought it from a sushi supply company.  $5 for a thousand pieces, I believe.

Holy crap! What in the world did you think you were going to do with 5000 peices of fake grass. LOL...you could glue them to mini blinds...I bet you'd have enough to cover a whole one....yea....

Use it upside down (or hey, even rightside up) on the edge of a shelf.  Adds a little interest!
