Oh, Fraggle Rock TOTALLY counts. Without a doubt. What about Punky Brewster? That might be a bit of a stretch...I never had Nickelodeon when I was a kid, so I used to have to hang out at a neighbors house to catch Today's Special. Wasn't there also one with an elephant? I'm remembering an elephant... And what was that show about the mannequin that came to life at night? And the Snorks!

*remembers she has a job*

I'll check back here and reminisce with you guys later!

Dude, Punky Brewster totally counts...there was a Punky cartoon for a while.  She had a monkey friend that zoomed around with her and her dog- what was the dog's name?  Today's Special was the one about the mannequin named Jeff that came to life.  His human friend was Jody, the puppet mouse that talked was Muffy and the puppet security gaurd was Sam.  Holy geezy pete, I know too stinkin' much about Today's Special!!  Yeah, I should get back to work, too!

The time has come
The walrus said
To talk of many things-
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax-
Of cabbages and kings.
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.

Grasshopper you are awesome!!!  For awhile now I've been trying to remember the name of the mannequin show on Nickelodeon.

So I'm excied about joining this swap, but this is my first one so I'm a bit nervous. Cry  Are there any unwritten rules of what to make our swapee or how much to spend?  Or should I try to come up with something creative that they will hopefully like?

candysprinkles - I put in the description to make one "big" item or two "medium" items.  Not in terms of size but in terms of time and expense really.  You should talk with your partner and find out what s/he'd like and go from there.  You don't have to spend tons of money, just be resourceful & crafty  Wink

Honestly I haven't been in many, either so it is still a little new to me as well.  Don't worry though, you'll be fine  Smiley

Hey everyone.

There are some new Craftster swap rules.  Go here: http://www.craftster.org/swapsinfo.html  and click refresh and you should see the new rules.  Please read them and let me know if you have any questions/concerns.

I'm pretty sure that everyone still meets these requirements but I'm going to check that out now.  The only thing I may not be able to check is the number of swaps you're currently in.  I may just grandfather you in but I'll let everyone know definitively soon.

Also, I want you to know that I will be PMing everyone TWO WEEKS before the mail out date just to touch base with you and see where you are on your projects.  If I do not hear from you for another week I will tell your partner to hold off on shipping your item until I hear from you.  Does anyone have a problem with that? Let me know because I'm open to discussion.

We already have 7 participants (including me)!!

Ohhh I totally want to join this swap, but I am having trouble deciding my favourites!

A trip to this 80s cartoon site didn't help either!!! (Mind the porn links - make sure you have a pop-up blocker) I've just found more that I forgot about. Sigh... Here's a list of ones that I remember being screened or seeing merchandise for, here in Australia:

Alvin & the Chipmunks, Bananaman, the Banana Splits, Berenstein Bears, Beany & Cecil, Beetlejuice, Camp Candy, Candy Candy, Captain Caveman, Carebears, Chip & Dales Rescue Rangers, Count Duckula, Curious George, Dangermouse, Dennis the Menace, Donkey Kong, Ducktales, Dungeons & Dragons, Ed Grimley, Ewoks, Fat Albert & the Cosby Kids, Flintstones, Fraggle Rock, the Gary Coleman Show, Ghostbusters, GloFriends, Gummi Bears, Heathcliff, Hello Kitty, He-Man & She-Ra, Hulk Hogans Rocking Wrestling, the Incredible Hulk, Inspector Gadget, Jem, the Jetsons, Kissyfur, Lady Lovelylocks & the Pixietails, the Little Rascals, the Littles, Mighty Mouse, Monchichis, Moondreamers, Mr T., Muppet Babies,  My Little Pony, My Pet Monster, the Mysterious Cities of Gold, Paddington Bear, Pacman, Pink Panther, Popeye, Popples, Pound Puppies, Punky Brewster, the Shmoo, Rainbow Brite, the Raccoons, Rubik the Amazing Cube, Scooby-doo, Shirt Tales, Smurfs, Snorks, Strawberry Shortcake, Superman, Super Mario Brothers, Superted, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, Tom & Jerry, Transformers, Voltron,  Will-o the Wisp, Wuzzles.

I also found this quiz. Apparently I am Smurf or Rainbow Brite, depending on my mood.

Once I can narrow down my list, I'll sign up!

Well I just realized that this swap was done before! and not too long ago, either. (ended in January!) Here's the gallery

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22387.0

Should I modify the title to be round 2?  Should I ask the original swap mod? hmmm...

Anyway, check that out for some ideas.
