So easy!
Find sweaters
Cut into squares
thread onto wire!

My only problem with this first one I did was I did not use strong enough wire so it doesn't hold shape when I try to hang.....it is currently being used as a festive cozy around our pointsettia haha!

What is fun about these is you can customize for any theme! Also possibilities are endless since you could just make garlands this way as well, mini ornaments etc..

this is so cute....there was a felted sweater swap recently, wish I had seen this earlier!

maybe you could also snip a hole in the center of the square with the tip of your scissors, and thread it onto some sort of sturdy loop?  I was just thinking some odd red buttons sewn on like berries could be cute too!
Oval shapes would be fun, or even different size squares...if you arrange them differently the overall shape would be interesting too!
