My first crazy quilt!  It's for my niece for xmas.  My niece is only 1 so that's why I chose this quilt since it has a lot of bright colors and things to look at.  Smiley  I'm very proud of this quilt; I would say it's definitely my best yet.
I used this tutorial and just left out the applique.

Love the colors and the maze like quilt stitching. I think your niece will enjoy it long after she is no longer only 1yr old!!! Crazy quilts are so much fun! You should be proud, you did a fantastic job!  Smiley

I love this quilt so much! How did you do the quilting? Did you use a free motion foot or did you just 'sink and pivot' the needle to turn the corners? You did a fantastic job!

sweetpea74, thanks for the compliments and I used my regular foot and pivoted quite a bit.  It was a little tedious but it worked!  I quilted the top and the batting together and then sewed the back green fabric afterwards.  I was torn about whether to quilt the back but I'm glad I did it this way.  Thanks again!

Ooooo, I love this! I also really like using bright colors for babies and kids. I love the machine quilting, I'll have to try that on my next quilt

Love the colors and the pattern (I've used it a few times myself.)  I also like how you quilted it.  I keep telling myself some day I'm going to get braver than just quilting in the ditch.
