So it has been awhile...work takes up too much of my time...but anyway when Christmas rolls around I always set time aside so I can make many of the presents for my friends. Because we like making present for each other, it feels better to give and get hand made gifts and there are some things you just can't find in the store. So anyway here is the Steam Punk bracer that I made for my friend.

Well I had a great time working on this project and I hope all enjoy it. Since I haven't given it to him yet any comments or suggestions on something to change or add would be appreciated.

Very nice work.  I like the design of it.  Being a leather worker myself, the only thing I would do would be to sand the edges a little.  Otherwise, you did a good job.

Wonderful! I've been sketching out ideas for something like this, with a whole assortment of usable dials, meters and gauges, but I don't have the know-how to actually create something this nice!

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.
