  Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share a quick embroidery project I finished up a week ago, and it's just been collecting dust.

I LOOOOOOVE 1950's housewifes, pin up, lifestyle and all that other jazz.

This was a custom pattern designed by me. I'm a self proclaimed artist, so I make my own patterns and designs. It's suppose to be a housewife powdering her nose, but after I finished it I looked at my husband and said, "Honey, it looks like she's eating a fuzzy doughnut!!" *sighs*  Cry

Oh, well. Better luck next time I guess.
Let me know what you think!!

It's not very big. It's only 5x6.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Very artistic.  Reminds me of Betty Draper on Mad Men!

i think it's gorgeous!
i skipped over the text, to look at the pictures first, and i don't think it looks at all like she's eating a fuzzy donut. Smiley
i also love how you filled in her hair/hat.
i'm still new to embroidery and satin stitch always intimidates me, but this looks doable and so cute!

Loving the vintage 50's design! And I agree she doesn't look as if she's eating a fluffy donut. Very cool. And love that you designed it yourself, very talented. Smiley
