Yeah....... I'm a Yahoo member and it tells me 'Restricted.  You are not the owner of this account.' Sad  I wanted to see them, too!

I ADORE the scrappy Irish Chain quilt!!  I made an Irish Chain quilt for a friend several years ago, but I used a pattern.  I so like the scrappy one better.  I just may have to get the rotary cutter out!!!

Thanks for the compliments!   Smiley I've been hand sewing since I was eleven but only started machine quilting 4 yers ago.  I'm self taught - read a lot of quilting books and watch every quilting show I can find.  I also found a quilting message board and ask lots of questions.

I just posted 3 more pics.  two are of a quilt challenge I entered.  You had to use their fabrics and create a quilt.  You could only add 2 other fabrics of your own.  I didn't win but it made me do techniques that I wouldn't have tried on my own.

The other is a denim rag quilt.  Made from recycled jeans and a backing fabric.  No batting was added.

The free pattern for the Scrappy Irish Chain can be found on this website:

www.mccallsquilting .com

Just type scrappy irish chain in the search and it will take you to the pattern.  My only change was that I cut up the white fabric into squares instead of appliquing.  It will make sense when you read the directions.
