I've been in Japan 6 months now, and am a sometimes-member of the Tokyo Stich N Bitch, but I was just wondering if there's anyone else around to possibly hang out with...

Hi!! *waves*
I'm a member of the Tokyo stitch and bitch too! I don't think we've met though. Where are you living in Tokyo? I didn't know there was a Japan board here on craftster, I'm usually over on glitter.

Anyway, feel free to e-mail me! dumplingrrl at gmail dot com

Redthread, Glitter is a message board about life and crafting. You should check it out http://www.supernaturale.com/glitter/ It's really a fun place.

I'll be going to the June 7th one too. I'm Pinn. See you then. Oh and I live right in Tokyo near Ookayama.

I'm coming to live in Tokyo on the 26th August, will be there for a year! Really wanna meet crafty people to squee at (I get excited at anything anyone is making themselves).
I'm 22, British, will be living in Higashikurume-shi, studying at Aoyama gakuin uni, and I love spinning, crochet, knitting, weaving, beads and shiny things and soft and texturey things. (I'm having my handspun yarns shipped over cos I wont be able to spin any for a year)

So...what are the yarns/crafts/materials to be looking out for in Japan? Anyone know where to get miyuki delica beads?

I'm headed to Tokyo on Wednesday.  I will be living in Kawasaki, working at NOVA, probably hating my job and aching to meet crafty partners-in-crime.  I'm a 26-year-old American boy hoping to make a living by making clothes, someday. Looking forward to fun in the big city.

My parents are heading to Tokyo in one or two months, and I don't think I'm being invited Wink But does anyone have any good suggestions on what I should make them get for me, craftwise, since they might be persuaded to make up for not having me come with? Grin (And where to get it!)
