I've made a couple of altered puzzles before and I think with each one I improve a bit. Here's my latest for the STS Holiday swap. I had so much fun with this one

Here's a few of my favorites close up; amusing abe, star girl, love sax, scissors cutting, and the giggle

I did each piece separately and completely at random so they are oriented any and all ways; I really love how the color came together.

I'd love to hear what everyone thinks  Smiley

We're on craftster because we love to create. Why should we settle for what we currently are?

Beautiful!  You did a great job.  Even though you did it in random, it comes together wonderfully.

I find joy in creating and helping others create not just jewelry and crafts but best of all, the life they want.

Wow!  When are you going to get in on the Altered Puzzle Swap?  We're just wrapping up Round 2, and hopefully Round 3 will be coming up after the holidays...

Wow, this is stunning. I'm so, so inspired and tempted to try.

Those are real elements (gems, scissors, key, etc) on the puzzle pieces, aren't they? Asking because in the photos they appear flat, but it's probably just the photo.

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

I was noticing that but yes they are 3-d. There's a real key, googly eyes, a scissor charm, gem, and I used a bit of puffy paint too for some of it.

It's roughly 12in x 14in or something around there.
