As the title says.....this stuff isn't great, but it's the first hand decent stuff I;ve done with my drop spindle, so I'm delighted!

As you can see, I have a bit of an unintentional thick/thin alternation along it. Also, some of the pink was a bit overspun, probably because Im finding it hard to draft it so that its nice and thin. But practice makes perfect, and Im really proud of this (although everything else on this thread is waaaaay better!) Now my problem is to figure out what to do with just 14 yards of this 2 ply! I only had a little bit of each color of roving..Any suggestions?

Its fabulous!!!! Maybe you could felt it into a yarn necklace or use it to make small colorful flowers and bits to add to your projects?

beautiful first not completely awful handspun!  Don't forget people who can get even yarn try really hard to make thick thin yarn, so it's not a bad thing.  I say hold onto it, as a record of your achievement!

The things I have done with smaller bits of handspun; stripes in hats or wristwarmers, mug cozies, coasters, necklace with felted flowers and bangles.
