  • Jolee’s Jewels™ Bicone Beads 4MM LT COL Topaz B0100450S
  • Jolee’s Jewels ™Donut Bead 8MM Golden Shadow  B0100460S

  • Silver Spacer Beads
  • Silver End Crimps
  • Silver Jump Rings
  • Fabric Glue
  • Velvet Ribbon: Ivory
  • Tulle: Pale Tan Shimmery
  • Cord: Pale Tan Shimmery
  • Thread: Ivory

Tools
  • EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors: EKCB01
  • Hole Punch
  • Jolee’s Jewels™ Wire Cutters B0800040
  • Jolee’s Jewels™ Round Nose Pliers B0800010
  • Jolee’s Jewels™ Chain Nose Pliers B0800020

Steps

1.  Cut cord to desired length.  Secure silver end crimps with flat-nose pliers.

2.  Use silver jump rings to attach toggle clasp to silver end crimps.

3.  Thread 4MM, 8MM and silver spacer beads onto silver head pins.

4.  To form a loop on the end of silver head pins, use flat-nose pliers to make a 90 degree bend in the wire and trim wire with wire cutters leaving a small piece for the loop.

5.  Grasp the end of the trimmed wire with round-nose pliers and roll the pliers toward the bend to create the loop.

6.  Stitch simple veins in the dark green felt leaf with thread.

7.  Glue dark green felt leaf to light green felt leaf using fabric glue, allow to dry and flatten under a very heavy object.

8.  After the leaf is dry, punch a hole in it.  To make punching a hole in the felt easier: fold a tiny scrap of vellum paper over the stem of the leaf.  Sliding the hole punch onto the leaf is made easier with the vellum and because the vellum is see through, placement of the hole is made easy.

9.  Thread the felt leaf and two beaded head pins onto the necklace with a jump ring.

10.  Tie ribbon and tulle to the jump ring.

11.  Wear necklace short or long.

Simply beautiful! I never would've thought to use felt in a jewelery piece. I think have some spare parts around to try this out.
