I just got a new wheel and I got 2 pounds of Corridale roving with it. I decided to have a dye session today and these are the two i came up with today. The first one is my fave and reminds me of those real hot yarns called zaurball I believe. The German ones.

The second one is sort of odd. I think the black dye always has a tendacy to break and make other colors as does some blues and greens. This was turquoise, blue, green, and purple and fuschia with a dash of black in the color breaks and oddly the finished steamed wool looks different once unwrapped. I did sort of hand pant them and roll in plastic wrap and steam the rolls

Yea for messes
