Like everyone else I love the fabric.  How long did the corset take you to finish?  Anyway the dress is just Fabulous.  My birthday is in March if you want to pay it forward!

Thanks and it took me only 5 hours divided between two days and the skirt took 2 hours. I don't know if this is the usual time for making one, because I've been sewing for 19 years, and I'm a very fast sewer.

i'm gutted that you didnt use a pattern because i love the style of the dress as well as the fabric! there's no way in hell i would be able to pull something like that together  Embarrassed

That's adorable, I love the pattern!

I'm truly amazed that you did that freehand, I've always had trouble with that. If I don't use a pattern, the item will normally come out looking great but I can never get my big arse into it. So apparently I'm a little larger than I've led myself to believe. Ha!

You're gorgeous btw. Totally off topic, I know, but whatever Smiley
