Hi! I'm not very experienced with polymer clay at all, but I love looking at all the tiny foods everyone has been making! I wanted to make a unique present for a good friend of mine, and sushi came to mind right away because we love to get together and share gossip over sushi.  Wink This is what I made for her:

The whole set

post earrings

wire hook earrings

sushi plate pendant with ginger and wasabi

my favorite, the sushi bracelet! I'm giving her her gifts tonight when we go out for sushi, I'm quite excited!!
Thanks for looking!

Aww thanks guys! I'm really proud of how it all turned out, it was my first attempt with canes. I had a lot of fun making them, so she better like them!  Grin I think I have enough left over for a bracelet for myself!

Super cute...I am thinking to try to make cane in my xmas holiday too. do you cut the cane into little piece after it's dried? or when it's 80% dried?

honestly, I didn't even consider when to cut the cane...whoops! I was so excited to see how it turned out then I was done reducing that I just kind of cut it right away. It seemed to work out ok for me, but now I'm curious to learn the correct way to do this.

They are awesome. Very realistic... looks like spicy tuna rolls, which I am now craving beyond all reason.
