This is my first project and first post EVAH on here, but I have been admiring others work from afar for a long time. I made these as a Christmas gift for my youngest brother who loves the Beatles. I'm going to start working on a pair of black all stars for my other brother with Star Wars on them next!

ok, so i guess i have to post 10 times as a new user before i can stick a picture to this. hope the link works!

Congratulations on your first post!  These are great, I'd love to see the Star Wars version, too.  I haven't stenciled on shoes before.  Any special tips or tricks you can share?  Did you use freezer paper or another method?

Thanks everyone for the kind replies! I just now noticed this post had any messages! lol

I am sure there must be an easier way to do them than the way I have. First, I found a picture I liked online, sized and printed it out on plain typing paper. Then, I took a straight razor blade and cut as much detail as I could. Next, taped it to the shoe and traced in pencil, then over again with a black sharpie and drew the details by sight.

If anyone has any tips of an easier or more efficient way, please let me know!

I just finished one shoe on the Star Wars set. I've been using Sharpie paint markers and they keep going dry and then breaking every 5 minutes. So, that has created more of a challenge. Back to the art store to exchange and then get set for the other shoe!

I may have to try this one soon.  I was named after a Beatles song, so I love them!
