And his wings are detachable, like in the comic.  Smiley  I'm glad they got there in good shape - the mailing place lady wanted to smoosh everything into a smaller box.

I must have made about 6 different versions of the flying treasure box, and nothing worked out. It's now become my mission to make an actual sized flying box on a necklace chain, dizzer!  I WILL PREVAIL! (I couldn't figure out how to attach the feathers without ruining this box, so just stuck 'em in there - I WILL PREVAIL!)

I loved it! I thought it was brilliant. My hubbie was so funny, he saw the bird feathers sticking out and said "Did someone send you a dead bird?". I would love to see the necklace whenever you finish it!

I love that deathmole stuff, and the diesel sweeties magnets are so cute. Some great stuff so far! I hope my package can live up to how neat everything else has been!

Boo is adorable. I love that his wings are detachable. And the Largo quote is excellent as well. Very creative.

Oh, and I'll share with the whole group what I told dizzer .... I was stuck in the ER waiting room, on pain pills, waiting to see a doctor, for about 3 hours. I just happened to have the towel and thread with me in case I had a spare moment during the day, so sat there and embroidered Largo's l33t n3kk1d phrase. You can tell I was pretty messed up, the end result made me laugh out loud the next day when I can across it.  Smiley Smiley HEE.  I decided to send it as-is because it still makes me laugh to see it.  (It was just a twisted foot, nothing broken/badly torn, just very painful. No cast or anything, yay!)

Hehehe I loved all of the little notes with everything. I'm always in such a rush that I usually forget to write a letter or I do write it and forget to pack it away  Roll Eyes

Yay! I received from Dizzer!

First up is a necklace with a few characters from various webcomics that I like.  This made me laugh out loud when I saw it, because of the third character.

First there's a trilobyte from Girl Genius:

Then Flaco the Lizard from Sheldon: (wearing a hat, if you're wondering why he has a huge brown head - sometimes he likes to dress up)

And then this fella. BELKAR! He is a hairy-footed halfling from the stick-figure webcomic "Order of the Stick". (It's a great comic about D&D adventuring) He's evil and violent and nasty and yet .... he's one of the few truly honest characters in the strip. Everyone else has hidden agendas and various personal non-group goals and secrets and dangerous mysteries... he's just violent. End of story. Plus he allows everyone to be who they want to be without  uestion.  And he adopted a cat in the comic, Mr Scruffy.  Anyone who adopts and takes care of a stray all-white cat is good with me!!

AND THEN.

Then she sent a wonderful item.

One of my favorite comics is a very simple one, Shi Long Pang the Wandering Shaolin Monk.  Dizzer made me SHI LONG PANG!

That's Pang in his big hat and his monk's robes. What a perfect little Pang - his head really is that big and round. Smiley  Dizzer got his eyes and smile just perfect!

I LOVE IT.

WOOOO!

Smiley

She also sent a drawing from Dreamer, but somehow the photos of that just won't come out.  In this light my camera can't seem to focus on that white paper. So I'll try again tomorrow whe it is supposed to be a bit sunnier!

THANK YOU Dizzer!!!!!

I recieved and this was one of the best swaps ever in terms of what I got.

From Girls With Slingshots, everyones favourite Irish accented Barrel Cactus, McPaedro. (Sorry about my disaster of a desk in the shot)

And from Jack,

Sorry about the lame watermark, my camera takes pictures in an obscure format and the converter I found puts that watermark there on the trial version.
