we're fine. i slipped on ice and fell HARD onto my arse and had contractions all day tuesday but by the time we got to the city they tapered off but still needed to be checked with ultrasound to make sure there was no damage inside of what we could see from the outside. baby is fine and active and now head down!! whoo hoo no c-section! just very tired from the stress and driving

I suppose that redefines the term "happy accident" ?  Maybe it showed lil' miss 1b1g1k2 that you meant business! Cheesy

I love looking at everything everyone sending/receiving!  Some of your packages are AMAZING, I can't believe how detailed and big your "small" days are, I can't wait to see what happens with the "big" days-lol!

I'm just reading my cookie recipe cards and am hoping you guys in the US can help me out. It's a Martha Stewart recipe for the icing that's confusing me. 1 box confectioners sugar is okay, I'm 99% sure we call that icing sugar. The only other ingrediant is 5 tbls meringue powder? What's meringue powder?

Meringue powder can be found at most specialty cake shops and bulk stores. It's a powder that, in addition to being used to make meringue, can be used as an egg white substitute. Smiley

I think Wilton manufactures it in small cylindrical containers- it's usually in with the colour flow and gum paste mix in cake shops.

Sometimes you can find it in crafty stores that sell Wilton cake supplies or in the spice isle at the grocery store too.

I got it at michaels, its so you don't have to use egg whites.  its quite nice actually, I've used it twice now to make royal icing.

On the 5th day of Christmas.....

Oh my goodness!!!!!  Oh yes!!!!!  I grabbed day 5 gift and on top was a yummy looking hot chocolate toffee for two drink mix.  When I unwrapped the gift under it I seen a neat kanji apron.

Oh, supposedly the kanji was "Food."  I wanted to do "Kiss the Cook" but I kept getting "kiss the cup."  What???
