Since I've now figured out how to post pics (lol) here's my Sally the Eco Fairy (renamed Ginger the Wish Fairy) http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter07/PATTfairy.html   
I've changed the pattern to make her as unique as her new owner (my daughter  - my little redhead named Sapphire)
