Since I found our water bottle carriers to be so useful (and cute!), I thought I'd make some for the kids' teachers this year.  I let them pick the outside fabric (the inside is all the same - a white on tan snowflake pattern - forgot to take a pic!), and then made strips of an off-white fabric that I let them draw on with fabric markers to personalize them a bit.

Here they are:

Slightly different angle:

And with one of the artists posing for posterity  Grin:

I put new water bottles in each, with a packet of one of those drink mixes made for water bottles, and wrapped them up.  Hope they like them!

Thanks for looking!  Any comments and/or critiques welcome!

Oh - and it's the same tute I used in my previous post about these - you can look it up - I can't remember the tute ATM . . .

Oh! I love the idea on how to get the kid's to personalize them! I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate my daughter's work (she's almost 2) into our christmas gifts this year, and that is a great idea!
Love the bottle covers too, very lucky teachers!!

Thanks, all! Grin  We're giving them out this Wed - my dd's last day fo school before break is Thurs, and my son's is Fri, but Wed is the last day we're pretty sure that all the teachers will be there!  (Can you believe they are getting 2 whole weeks off?!  And my son has early release on Thursday, too!  Insanity!  Cheesy)

As a teacher, let me just say that's a wonderful gift!  The personalization will make it even more special. I know I always lose track of water when I just bring a bottle into the classroom, so these would be very nice to have.

Linnybelle - thanks for the feedback!  Always nice to know from a teacher how the gift might be looked at!  I know my kids had fun putting their own touches on them! Smiley

Here is a link to my previous post - in reply #10 I list several links - one to the tute I used (and adapted somewhat) and a couple of posts from others who have made variations of it, too.
