a baby raccoon  is portrayed using pastel chalks. He lives in the hole in the old pine tree.  When I found this section of bark on a downed tree, I couldn't wait to put it to use.  I have looked for and used similar smaller limb holes in bark pieces before.  This is the biggest I will probably ever get.
