Curious if anyone has used this software.

If so, do you have any review on it you could share with us ?

Here's a link to the software page and the features, it sure sounds good for $14.95 but who knows.

I use Stitch Era Universal. I managed to find a free download, so I didn't have to buy the CD or anything from a dealer.

I've used the auto-digitizing features in the past, and they're alright. Tonight was the first time I'd created a design from scratch, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. It needs some tweaking, but that's more an issue of me learning how to use the software, not an issue with the software itself.

It's not intuitive, it's not exactly easy - but if you're familiar with Photoshop or Illustrator, it'll be easier. It does include links to some tutorial PDFs, but they are anything but comprehensive. I'd recommend just messing around with it to figure it out... but then, that's how I learn most software.

Thanks, I've been tinkering with it and you're right, the tuts for it are less than helpful LOL but I may figure it out in time. I usually just mess around till I figure most software out too so I'm sure I'll get this one sooner or later Smiley

There are some decent tutorial vids on Youtube under the username stitchera. They're all for v10 so if you've got the updated v11 version, they won't be as useful, but they're still worth watching just to see some good techniques.
