I made that pattern too and love it (totally different fabric, it's green lattice work) and wear it all the time.  I also didn't do the button thing - I think it looks better without it.

It looks absolutely fantastic on you! If you know the type of material the dress works well with then why not make another one? If it has pockets, then we're going to be in trouble, because I'm going to have to get that pattern and make one for me. :p

I agree though that this dress would look complete with a thick, black waist belt. Very nice work and great pictures!

Yes it has fabulous pockets that is my favorite part about the dress. they are big and on the side. you cant see them in the pic but they are FAB!

Firstly, I just have to tell you that I LOVE this dress. I hope that when I grow up, I am as beautiful and happy as you.

Also, I agree with everyone else on the belt! But buttons could be cute too!
