I made this doll for I Sew Cute for the IYP. She is my favorite doll I've ever made!
She is made from a heavily modified version of the poppet.

Here is her close up so you can see her eyes that I used a new technique on. I plan on doing a tute for the eyes very soon.

Here she is in just her underthings. I couldn't resist. This was before her mouth and dimple sculpting.

Here are her shoes. I found a pattern for some elf clogs that are for ornaments and such on flickr. They just so happen to fit her foot. I don't know how well they would fit a normal poppet foot. Celia's feet have been modified from the original pattern.

I had to make her apron into a gathering apron so she would have a place for her friend Ralph the snail to hang out. This was before Ralph was finished.

Just for fun, a shot of Ralph on his own. I used my own pattern for him. His body is wired for posability.

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

she is AMAZING!! truly truly fantastic.. i hope you take this as a complement.. but all i could think of when i was looking at her, was muppets, specifically the fraggles.. please take that as a compliment!! i love her so much, and it is inspiring me to work on poppets more with the hope that someday i can make poppets as amazing as yours!!

Those toes are just fantastic, as is your poppet. I love the dimples, and well everything. I really need to concentrate on making clothes now. I am so jealous of your skill.

I have a split personality, because you guys crack me up.  AND The best day I ever had was TODAY!

Thanks! I do take the muppet or fraggle thing as a compliment!
I'm becoming really happy with my clothing skills. It has taken a long time to get to this point though and I still don't use patterns.  Cheesy

She is your best doll so far!
I love your eye technique.  Her dimples are precious, as are her toes.
Your outfits are always so complete, down to the frilly knickers.
I ♥ Celia, and I know she is loved in her new home with ISewCute.

I love the doll, but is it terrible that I want ralph more? He's so cute! I've always liked snails....
I love the way you did the dolls face, her mouth is so simple and yet fits in perfectly with a poppet style face. I really can't wait till you do that eye tut. It will be really neat to learn a new technique!

Also love her outfit, Her underthings are adorable! And I love the gathering apron and shoes.
Hard to find a part I like best but I'd have to go with ralph then her apron and then shoes.

Thanks everyone! I may not get to the eye tute until after Christmas as I have to finish up a few gifts, but trust me you will get a tute!
