This is gorgeous. Your artwork and attention to detail are really amazing. I love that you have the letter to explain why people are getting the box. I'd love to know more about your paper-making process. I have made some paper myself and the uniformity and delicateness of your paper is lovely. (And like everyone else, I wish I were nearby so you could 'hand out' one of these to me!!)

Thanks for sharing your talent!

That is beautiful!  I am jealous of the unsuspecting public who may have been surprised by one of these boxes!

That is absolutely stunning. All the little details...the polished look of the whole thing...making your own chocolates. Did you hand-letter all of it, too?

Wow, thank you all so much! OK I'll try to answer some questions:

That is absolutely stunning. All the little details...the polished look of the whole thing...making your own chocolates. Did you hand-letter all of it, too?

OK so my mom deserves major props on this one, as she wrote everything here out by hand. I then took her handwriting, burned it onto a screen, and screenprinted it on everything. So hahaha, in a way, it is handlettered, yes, by my awesome mom  Kiss

And to eirle who asked about my papermaking process:
This paper was abaca that I beat for exactly 3 hours. Other than that, I guess all you need to know is that I pulled the sheets with a normal mold/deckle and dried them in a press. Hmm that sounds so vague but it's all I really know to tell you...do you have any specific questions other than that?

And for those of you wondering what grade I got on this, well, I never found out  Cheesy. Since it was the last project in the class, all I got back was my final grade in the class, which was an A- (sigh.) So there you go!
