little black dress... but still a bit different

hi guys,

i saw recently a similar dress in one of countless internet clothing shops, and just fell in love with it. but since i live in germany and the shop is somewhere in USA, i figured out it will be much more fun to make it by myself instead of purchasing it  (and cheaper too!)

i used a piece of black fabric that left from some other projects.
since sometimes I'm a really impatient person instead of buying metal studs i grabbed an old belt and picked them one by one out (the belt was really old, but that what gives this nice colour to the studs... they are not that shiny anymore  )

as to the pattern: i made a simple top with high waist, which gives this few extra inches to the whole silhouette, and for the skirt i customized an tulip skirt pattern, that i found on burdastyle.com

don't have the link anymore, but i can look for it, just let me know if you might have use for it. 

SO, i still have no idea where I'm going to celebrate new years eve, but definitely i know what I'm going to wear!

I did pick studs from an old belt, too, but the first time  I washed the garment (skirt) the all came off  Maybe you should wash this VERY carefully.
