thanks all!   Grin

little me: Theres a Joann's in the next big town, but we had a really nasty winter storm and were cooped up for 2 days, one with blizzard conditions, the next with subzero temperatures plus 30 mile an hour winds BRR!!!  today (thursday) was the first day since Monday I was able to go outside!   Shocked (I should add here that my health is uncool lately, so it is not healthy for me to be out in the cold)

Wednesday afternoon I had run out of projects to finish and El Hubbito (the DH) told me to "Go Craft Something Will Ya?!"  Roll Eyes

This is what happened  Cheesy

Great idea ! I just broke down and bought the kniffty knitter about a month ago. I loved how qiuck it was to finish projects. I made a baby afgan in 2 days with the large rectangular loom. I want a long loom with closer pegs so that the weave will be smaller and your creative solution has inspired me to make my own. A board and nails would be perfect or I have on hand a spaghetti box and lots of wooden pencils and tape  Wink until I can get wood and nails. The rectangular loom whipps out a scarf in a hour or so once you get into the "string zone" and get wrapping quick! I love it.

jungrrl just added this tute. The link to the pdf is broken, but I love your ingenuity. I would use old clothes pins as I have them on hand. LOL I have a long board for weaving scarfs and haven't finished the first one yet. lol
