Gingerbread men ornaments

Hello everyone,

I decided to make some ornaments this year to give out to family and friends. I made these gingerbread man "bite victims" (or whatever you want to call it) out of felt. I actually have seen this idea done several places including a cute one posted in a swap

I started by making up a basic gingerbread man template and duplicating it. Then I made variations of bite marks. I think they turned out pretty cute. Sorry for the not so great pics....

Those are awesome!  I love how the bitten parts are all raggedy.  And they kinda look like Mr. Bill to me in the face, which makes them extra awesome!  Did you glue and then sew them or are they just sewn?  The only felt I've ever worked with are those silly little kits as a kid, so I don't really know.  How tall are they?  I am asking all of these questions because this looks like a super fun holiday stress buster!  Plus I, too, have friends and family who would totally love these!  Great job!

KCMonkey, thanks, Mr. Bill is great. As for your questions, they are a combination of sewing and using glue. I sewed the red buttons on first, then stitched around the edges (I used my sewing machine for the ones in the pics, but for my prototype I hand sewed). Then I glued on the face and rick-rack. After those dried, I stuffed them and used a hot glue gun to close up the "bitten" spots. Oh and as for the felt, I just used felt squares that you can buy at most craft stores.
