This is my law student tree, the first time I ever settled for a fake tree.  Turns out, I like it.  Easy and still quite pretty.  It was one of my black friday purchases.  It makes exam time a little less horrendous.

This is my first Christmas on my own, so I went with 2 small trees that are just my taste. One is a pink tree decorated in only silver and a couple little birds. The other is an antique aluminum tree decorated in pink, green and blue!

Gosh, everyone's trees are so great!  You even brought me out of lurkdom to post...

My living room is black, white, silver, and red, so I decided to match the tree to the room.

My tree doesn't have a theme or a color palette or anything fancy like that. It doesn't have designer ornaments or any level of planned order. What it DOES feature is hundreds of ornaments that I love and cherish. Ornaments that my mom had on her tree when I was a kid and ornaments my grandmother had on her tree when my mom was a kid. (I have some ornaments over 60 years old!) It's overstuffed with ornaments, lights and memories.

And this year for the first time, we also have a Walt Disney World Monorail around it as well which is perfect for us being such big Disney geeks.

It makes me smile every year to see my ornaments and to watch the glow of the tree and the warm memories of holiday seasons past.
