Ok..I am hesitant to post this, I am a novice. And most of you have some mad skills! But i wanted to post it, for a first project it turned out OK...thanks for looking, and be gentle, but I would love some C & C!

I was thinking about putting it onto a pillow

i think they look like colorful mushrooms because of their wavey  stems, but i think i like them more like little shrooms anyway!
carnations are a tough flower because they are so dense in size & color.

wow that is beautiful. I could see it being appliqued on the back of a jacket or the side of a bag as well as the pillow Idea you all ready have.

i think they look like flowers (side view) but i am never sure of species.  anyway they are pretty and you have a lot of patience to do the beading with the embroidery.  i would never manage that.

not sure if you might want to add a little design in that space near where the datestamp is in the photo, see where it looks a little empty?  although the design is kind of natural-random (in a good way) so you might not want to try for too much uniformity.

i think it would look great stretched into a circular frame (which you previously spraypainted in one of the colors of the embroidery, but not yellow cos that would make the "frame" you beaded disappear).  that way it doesn't get the wear and tear of a pillow.

I did notice that it had a "bare" spot, but it wasn't quite enough space to put another flower. I considered to keep going and completely fill the space so that it would look more like a tapestry, but I am limited on time, having to make several more gifts for Christmas. I make set this aside and start on it afterwards and do what I had planned.

I think you did a great job. It would look really pretty as a pillow.

It turned out WAY better than OK! It's beautiful, I love the bead details.

I do agree that the blank spot needs a little something, but am not sure what - maybe another stem?

Lovely work though Smiley
