Thanks so much for sharing. I once made a paper mache lizard for art class one time. Got an A on it but . . . about 6 months later I smelled something like a dead rat in my closet and I guess it molded?
I'm thinking I should have dried in-between layers? Maybe is never dried in the center? I had to toss him out. I was sad! So now that you gave us the Tut I will try drying well before reaplying. Thanks and love your blog as well. Great work!

Yes, mold can be a problem!! I've had a piece at an art gallery, and much to my horror, it started to grow FUZZ!! So, yes, it does happen. I was able to fix it, though. Drying between layers is a great idea. And I know it's not really eco-friendly, but baking it in the oven is a really great way to avoid that. It's hard to see your hard work go down the drain Sad
