the color! the texture! the toady! wow! great work.

the more hand-drawn cards i see, the more i want to take a drawing class...every single art class at the local community college is already full and closed for the spring term, though, so it will have to wait. meanwhile i'll ogle other people's skills!

Working at a community college, I know that with classes still a month away, lots of students will be dropping classes and/or changing classes.  Your timing has to be right, but it's still worth keeping your eyes on it for when a seat opens up.  Though you could also look into auditing the class if you don't need the credits.

I just wish I wasn't so tired after work so I could take advantage of the classes.  I'm so impressed with the ability to draw and have tried a few classes but it has yet to click for me.  Thank goodness for clip art!

I am a proud owner of a beautiful piece by WiccadWitch as well!  She chose my erotica theme, only with a twist: a male!  It is so well drawn. I am impressed at how well she defined the muscles (I life weights and am surrounded by such gorgeous men!)

Uhm, I am marking it with a mature theme even though the goods are covered up with a red dot...which, I kept trying to remove and couldn't (hee hee)...later, Wiccadwitch informed me that the dot WAS removeable...but I will keep that all to myself... Wink

Here ya go!

I received a beautiful penguin ATC from WiccadWitch recently. The snow is accented with glitter, which made the card a little difficult to photograph well.  The penguins are adorable and I love it.

I'll come back when I have more energy to give what I received from alwaysinmyroom the praise it deserves; for the moment the awesomeness will have to speak for itself:

How often does one get an ATC *and* a portion of a beaded collar in the mail? (: Both are examples of the artforms of the Cuna indians of Panama, where she lived as a teenager, and all the colors on the cards are different layers, with the yellow being the actual base of the card. She included lots of information about both and a handmade card and it is all stunning. I wish I could wake up my brain enough to explain better.

Thank you!

Here is the beautiful and perfect in so many ways card I rec'd from Hika-chan.  This is one of Tinkerbell's best friends, Rani.  Rani is one of my favorite fairies from the Pixie Hollow books.  Thank You Hika-chan!

Sorry for the delay in posting, here are the latest cards I've received  Cheesy

from MunLtStmpr a fantastic, glittery, shiny "Snowflake" ATC  It has little jewels on it as well  Grin!

She also sent an extra ATC!!! It's made of beautiful, shiny, tapestry-like fabric (the picture didn't come out very well, I'll try to get a better one).

From vinnie451, an elegant, beautiful "Pagan" ATC  Grin!! Titled "Triple Moon" the Goddess looks like enamel! It has a very peaceful and mystical feel!! It came in a beautiful handmade card (which my husband forgot to scan when he was scanning the cards for me  Shocked, so I will update this as soon as I get it scanned, because it HAS to be seen)!

As promised, the beautiful, handmade card from vinnie451!

Thank you so much MunLtStmpr and vinnie451!! I love them!

I am inspired the people who can draw! Wiccadwitch--you amaze me with how many different things you can draw! The penguins are just too cute for word!

Hika-chan is also an excellent drawer!  I still have to post my kokeshi doll to show her talent...I love Tinkerbell and her buddies!

Vinnie451--very peaceful and meditative card--nice mix of media and I love the feel of floating the card gives! The handmade card is lovely as well!

Ficklepagasus--love your glittery work--you certainly have a wide expanse of talent as well!

MunLtStmpr--I love the snowflake!  You are very good with the tinest detail and doing such beautiful finish work! Of course I love the texture on the tapestry card--you seem to like all sorts of medium as well!

This round is certainly showcasing some wonderful cards!
